Looks like ubiquity is trying to run things in parallel that need to be
serialized:

Mar 10 14:53:23 kubuntu ubiquity: them again until the other instance finishes. You may be able to use
Mar 10 14:53:23 kubuntu ubiquity: 'chroot /target ...' instead.

(sdb) with a previous installation of 14.10 the istaller failed when
trying to "update grub"
