Sorry for the late response, I have been ill for a while.
Today I have tested again with the NVidia Quaddro FX-1500 PCI-E video
adapter and indeed it works with the window compositing turned off.
Swapped with the Radeon X550 again and re-enabled window compositing
with that one. Now installed all updates (apt-get update) from the past
3 weeks. After another swap with the NVidia Quaddro that one now works
fine with window compositing enabled.
Should I test with the other videocards as well?

Bug description:
In Kubuntu 15.04 Beta-1 the manual partitioner renders the screen incorrectly.
First you see nothing, after "wiping" the screen with the mouse-pointer some buttons become visible.
See attachment for screen layout after wiping with the mouse-pointer.
- Kubuntu 15.04 Beta-1, amd64 dvd-iso.
- Tested on a HP XW8400 workstation with a NVidia Quaddro FX-1500 PCI-E video adapter.
Please contact me for further information, I am a senior UNIX administrator for profession.
I can tell anything about this test-system, it is free for testing (even re-install) purposes in case further debugging needs to be done or a bugfix needs to be tested.
