[Bug 1437801] [NEW] do-release-upgrade -d acpid problem

Public bug reported:

When upgrading from 14.10 to 15.04 using do-release-upgrade i got problems with the acpid or nvidia modules. The system ended up in a lop switching between the loginscreen and start of acpid.
I removed the acpid module and some nvida was remode together with it, now the system starts.
