  Error upgrading to 12.04

Status in update-manager package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I tried and tried and also today try to upgrade my system (Ubuntu 10.04 LTS - le Lynx Lucide) to the new one 12.04 but it crash all the time. 
  An error message pop:

  (in french)

   Impossible d'évaluer la mise à niveau (it's impossible to evaluate
  the upgrade)

  Un problème irrémédiable est survenu pendant la préparation de la mise
  à niveau. (an irremediable problem occured during the upgrade)

  Veuillez signaler ce bogue du paquet « update-manager » en y joignant
  le message d'erreur suivant :

  'E:Erreur, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve a généré des ruptures, ce qui a
  pu être causé par les paquets devant être gardés en l'état.'

  (Resolve generates breaks maybe because of some files to be kept in
  state.... ??)

  Anyway what should I do please!
