  Installer crashed by faulty image or hard drive

Bug description:
  Installation crashed after partitioning,due to faulty image/DVD or
  hard drive. I've tried 2 different USB drives for bootingwith the
  installer,and my hard drive should not be damaged, as it is less than
  2 years old.
