Your installation medium contains a mix of trysty and wily.  You need to
format a USB stick before reusing it to install a different
distro/release.

  Del XPS 15 (9530) model.
  With Windows 10

  Ubuntu 15.10 was successfully installed but I want to downgrade to
  Ubuntu 14.04 due to gcc-5 ABI changes, I need gcc 4.8.
