Public bug reported:

After installing an update for Virtualbox, virtual machines crash due to a mismatched Virtualbox Extension pack.
Virtualbox cannot function correctly with a mismatched Extension pack.

The options for software-updater are
1- offer the appropriate extension pack
2- alert the user to the need to install the appropriate extension pack
