This "bug" still exists in Ubuntu 15.10:
- kernel is 4.2
- btrfs-tools is 4.0

Bug description:
The btrfs-tools version provided in Ubuntu vivid is 3.17 whereas the kernel version is 3.19.x.
btrfs-tools 3.19.x is available upstream and it is advised to use matching versions, so is it possible to update btrfs-tools in vivid ?
