  hang processing -- grab some diagnostics on hangs

Status in autopkgtest package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  When we detect and terminate a run for timeout reasons it would be
  instructive to grab some information before destroying the instance
  state.  For example a ps -ef would tell us what was running, dmesg
  output may be instructive on real VMs etc.
