Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to
look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many
changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem
may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if
you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test
it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running
apport-collect <bug #> and any other logs that are relevant for this
particular issue.

Title:
Toshiba laptop not hibernating
Status in acpi-support package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
In hardy, my laptop didn't hibernate. It started the hibernation
sequence and returned to the unlock session screen after rapidly
showing some console output that I don't remember.
Now, I tell the computer to hibernate and it goes to blank, shows some
output about mmc0 (if i eject my SD adapter that ouptput is not
shown), and shuts down. But when I power up the laptop back again, it
boots normally and doesn't resume the hibernation.
I don't know where and how to get the logs of what happened, but if you tell me how to get them, I will post them.
Im using Ubuntu 8.10 with the release day packages
