  After install completes, Xubuntu 16.04 hangs on reboot

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  2015-10-27 Xubuntu xenial-desktop-i386 image.

  After installing the image on Virtual Box (install entire disk), and
  at the prompt "Installation Complete" upon clicking the "Restart now"
  button the system hanged and didn't reboot, forcing a hard shut-down.

  I'm adding a compressed tar archive of the /var/log/installer
  directory.
