Any progress for Wily (15.10)?

I came from:
http://askubuntu.com/questions/491995/icedtea-plugin-for-openjdk-8

After I update openjdk-8

sudo apt-get install -y --install-suggests openjdk-8-demo
openjdk-8-source visualvm openjdk-8-jre openjdk-8-jre-jamvm fonts-
ipafont-gothic fonts-ipafont-mincho fonts-indic

The only missing package is icedtea-plugin-8.

Eclipse 4.5 works indeed better with openjdk-8 and some apps like
"Eclipse Optimizer" and "JRebel" are recommending this upgrade. Would be
nice if some ubuntu worker could sync this package from debian and raise
the priority since Ubuntu is the distro preferred for a lot developers
and could increase the ratio for develop new apps based in new java
version.

Status in icedtea-web package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed
Status in icedtea-web package in Debian:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
OpenJDK 8 is available in the Utopic repositories, but icedtea-8-plugin does not exist.
I did see that in Debian this 'bug' is known and the new control files etc are already made available in this repository:
  https://code.launchpad.net/~openjdk/openjdk/icedtea-web

Can the icedtea package please be updated and this new package pulled
  into the Utopic repositories?
