  Failure while attempting to upgrade from 14.04 to 14.10

Status in ubuntu-release-upgrader package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  The only error I get is:

  Could not calculate the upgrade

  An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade.

  The upgrader does gracefully fail back to my current installation, but
  I am unable to complete the upgrade.
