This is not a bug with the software that manages the upgrade process,
rather with some piece of software that was updated. As such I am
removing the ubuntu-release-upgrader package assignment.

** Package changed: ubuntu-release-upgrader (Ubuntu) => ubuntu

Title:
  general network slowing after update

Status in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  after I updated several ubuntu 14.04 machines I have experienced slow
  network speeds, stalling and hanging up. For example I can only
  sometimes SSH to these machines, and when I do it freezes because of a
  lost connection. I changed the MAC address on one of these machines
  and the problems seem to have went away but they returned at a later
  time. I noticed in the update log that bind9 was updated.
