Public bug reported:

Description:	Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS
Release:	14.04

Running software updater I get the message waiting for configuration file prompt. The prompt is:
Replace your changes in 'etc/ati/atiapfxx' with a later version of the configuration file?
The list of changes is empty. Selecting either command button (Keep or Replace) does nothing and the system is hung.
I closed both the prompt and SoftwareUpdater dialogs and rebooted. I then removed the AMD proprietary driver. While it was being applied I got this???
