Title:
Totem doesn't offer to install gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad when opening
a file with embedded styled subtitles

Status in gnome-codec-install:
  Fix Released
Status in gnome-codec-install package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: totem

Normally Totem offers to install a codec when trying to open a file
that your computer cannot play. However, if you open an mkv file with
embedded fonts and subtitles (normal for anime), Totem just plays it,
rendering the subtitles in the default font, which is rather ugly. The
user has no idea how to fix this unless they do a lot of googling.
Totem should offer to install gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad just like it
  does with mp3 files.
