I can't reproduce this. Of course I get the error when I literally use
"akonadi_15.12.1-0ubuntu3.dsc", but with the actual version
(akonadi_15.12.3-0ubuntu4.dsc) it builds fine. Can you please double-
check that the .dsc you specified really exists?

  Steps to reproduce:

  Install autopkgtest 3.20.3 on Xenial.
  adt-buildvm-ubuntu-cloud -r xenial
  pull-lp-source -d akonadi
  adt-run -oadt --apt-pocket=proposed -U akonadi_15.12.1-0ubuntu3.dsc --- adt-virt-qemu ~/adt-xenial-amd64-cloud.img

  Note: I used ubuntu4 since that is my proposed upload. My change is
  just to do s/5.6/5.7/ in debian/control, so I think that is unrelated
  to this issue.

  The error was:
