Bug description:
  The upgrade to 16.04 LTS from 14.04 LTS did not go completely
  smoothly.  The install wizard hung while making changes to GRUB.  I
  had to do a hard restart because Unity wouldn’t restart my machine.  I
  got dumped back to the password screen.  After a restart, 16.04
  booted, but I'm left with error messages.  This is one of them.
