  install lubuntu 16.04.1 desktop
  cups specifically lp and lpr missing.

  install lubuntu 16.04.1 alternate
  cups no parts missing.

  also checked:
  lubuntu 14.04.5 desktop
  lubuntu 15.10 desktop
  lubuntu yakkety desktop
  cups no missing parts.

  we currently have lubuntu 15.04 desktop running and printing, no cups
  parts missing.
