  Dist-upgrade gui uses wrong font & sizes incorrectly

Status in update-manager package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Opening up the terminal part of the dist-upgrade GUI, it often spills
  over the visible size of my display (1440x900). I suggest a simple fix
  (which actually worked at some point, but then a regression occurred)
  -- namely, when one opens up the terminal part the window can be made
  as large as possible to fit in the visible area and re-centered.
