Title:
Encrypted root does not boot after installing NVIDIA privative drivers

Status in plymouth package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I've installed Ubuntu-mate 16.04 on a Dell Latitude E6520 with Nvidia
graphics. In installation process I selected to erase my previous
installation and encrypt all disk. System installed without troubles
and worked well until I decided to install the privative Nvidia
drivers instead of the nouveau installed ones. Alfter (succesfull)
installation, when booting. the system does not ask me for encryption
password and it drops me to a busybox session (initramfs) after some
  waiting.
