I don’t know where you got a package named ‘git-2.5.0’, but it’s not an
official Ubuntu package. You need to remove it before installing the
official ‘git’ package.

If you need a newer version of Git, I maintain this PPA based on the official packaging:
https://launchpad.net/~git-core/+archive/ubuntu/ppa
