Public bug reported:

My Ubuntu was working regularly, but then when I restarted my computer from the windows partition, grub didn't appear on the starting screen and windows was automatically chosen to run.
Then I tried to run Ubuntu from my BIOS menu for boots and it didn't allow me to run it as well. After that I tried to reinstall Ubuntu and almost in the end of the installation it showed an warning of FATAL ERROR regarding the impossibility of grub being installed. What happened?
I'm about to format my HD and install only one OS (Ubuntu) and run windows as a virtual machine... I'm deeply upset about what happened :(
