Title:
usb-creator makes install disk write protected
Status in usb-creator package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Creating USB install disk with usb-creator works fine. Problem is that
USB disk will be write protected. I remember in past I could add my
own files to USB install disk. The only way to make USB writable again
is to create new partitions. I bricked one of my USB when I tried to
make it writable again by hacking with hdparm and other tools.
I think USB install disk should be writable like it used to be.
Kubuntu 16.04.
