[Bug 1540683] [NEW] Calendar displays events 5 hours too late

Public bug reported:

When I click on my calendar-indicator applet, it displays all of my
events 5 hours later than they should be (events at 8:00pm are displayed
as 01:00 the next day, events at 10:00am are displayed at 18:00 the same
day, etc.). My calendar-indicator applet is synced with my phone
calendar. I can create events in the applet at the "real" time (Pacific
time for me) and they will sync as Pacific time on my phone. However,
they will be displayed 5 hours too late on my calendar-indicator applet.
