Ahaha. Ahahahaha. Seems that if you have golang-src installed and GOROOT
set to point at it, the "go" wrapper-tool-thing fails to find the right
binaries.

Title:
  golang-go fails to install compiler

Status in golang package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
When trying to build Go code with "Version:
  2:1.6~rc2-0ubuntu1~ubuntu14.04.1~ppa1", I get a most curious failure.

  ingvar at roke:/etc/apt/sources.list.d$ uname -a
  Linux roke 3.16.0-60-generic #80~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Wed Jan 20 13:37:48 UTC 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
ingvar at roke:/etc/apt/sources.list.d$ go build metricsdemo
go tool: no such tool "compile"

This was after a recent (as in 10 minutes earlier) upgrade, as I was
trying to get godoc installed (I previously had golang-gfo installed
from ppa:evarlast-golang1.5, but trying to install golang-go.tools I
got a conflict (seems to already have been reported). As I require at
least go 1.5 for some packages I need, I thought I'd try this but this
package actually seems to not allow me to compile at all.
