Redid the installation this week-end without network connection and 
indeed it went fine.

Bug description:
  Hi,

  I tried to install Ubuntu Mate 15.10 on a C40-C-1OQ and it ends in
  error but without a lot of details. The boot part (if I remember well)
  could not installed.

  No more details available unfirtunately
