I wonder if more could be done to make the installation of Suggests more
discoverable when this failure occurs. I can understand not wanting to Depend
on a ton of things that many people won't need, but when the failure does
occur, it's not so easy to figure out how to fix the situation. Maybe print
something to stderr?

Title:
adt-buildvm-ubuntu-cloud missing dependencies?
Status in autopkgtest package in Ubuntu:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
On a relatively fresh install of Xenial:
$ adt-buildvm-ubuntu-cloud -v
WARNING: python-distro-info not installed, falling back to determining default release from currently installed release
ERROR: QEMU command qemu-system-x86_64 not found
the latter appears to be in qemu-system-x86. Is that a missing
dependency?
