I believe this is basically impossible to fix.

The default boost for Ubuntu 12.04 is 1.46 and will not be raised to
1.48. Since boost-defaults is already version 1.48, it's not possible to
upgrade that to a lower version number like 1.46.

I recommend upgrading to Ubuntu 14.04 LTS or 16.04 LTS which doesn't
have this issue.
