This image contains /efi/boot/bootx64.efi which was generated using
simple command:
grub-mkstandalone -d usr/lib/grub/x86_64-efi/ -v -o bootx64.efi -O
x86_64-efi
Result is unusable as it does not see UEFI partitions.
Anyone can check by booting image on UEFI bootable VM.

Hi, in working with cirros we are interested in getting a grub2 "standalone image".
We're currently able to get such a thing from Fedora but i'd like to get it from ubuntu as we're already downloading other binaries (kernels) from ubuntu.
