Title:
service LCDd does not execute properly at boot

Status in lcdproc package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
My HTPC computer case has a iMonLCD display with IRC sensor.
I have edited /etc/LCDd.conf to shut down the display backlight at boot.
It used to work but now the LCD display backlight does not turn off at boot.
However, if I manually do "sudo service LCDd restart" after boot the light shuts down.
So I suspect the service is not run, or maybe not in the correct order.
I am not sure how old this is, maybe 4 - 6 months.
