Yes the persistence feature has been dropped from the current version of
USB Creator.

that led to this decision.

So, not a bug, marking as "Invalid".

  No persistent storage slider

Status in usb-creator package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I'm using usb-creator-gtk 0.3.2 on Ubuntu 16.04, 64 bit. It doesn't
  display the option and slider for persistent storage. I tried with
  several Ubuntu versions and several USB drives (up to 32 GB). It
  seems that this feature been dropped. Any idea?
