[Bug 1591254] [NEW] watch --color ignores reset sequences

Ubuntu Version: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
Package version: 2:3.3.10-4ubuntu2   
Expected: `git status -s` looks normal. (http://i.stack.imgur.com/QkAAY.png)
Recieved: The colors do not reset: (http://i.stack.imgur.com/wtZMk.png)
This did not happen with the previous distro I was using (mint something or other) and it also does not happen on my colleague's computer running 14.04.
I also tested on a completely fresh install of 16.04LTS w/ the default terminal & shell and the same thing happens.
