[Bug 1552613] [NEW] Cursor blinks on typing with the keyboard

I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 dev with git-gui 1:2.7.0-1 and for example if I'm
holding any key in the field "Commit Message:" I'm noticing that the
cursor does still blink while the letters are being written which is
maybe not intended.
