[Bug 1552745] [NEW] Selected elements can't be easily unselected again

I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 dev with git-gui 1:2.7.0-1 and on selecting
elements like a changed file, the diff field or the commit message it is
not possible to easily unselect them again. Maybe clicking on an empty
place in the GUI or so can cancel a selection.
