libgnome-media-profiles-3.0-0, so the .list and .postrm remaining is
correct behaviour.

When autoremoving, you can purge at the same time with "apt-get --purge
autoremove", or you could purge it after the fact with "dpkg --purge
libgnome-media-profiles-3.0-0"

Closing the bug as invalid.

  Invalid

Bug description:
  1. Install (ubuntu 64 bit) gnome-media package via apt-get install
  gnome-media (dependencies include gstreamer0.10-gconf libgnome-media-
  profiles-3.0-0)

  2. Remove it via apt-get purge gnome-media && apt-get autoremove

  3. find /var -name *gnome-media*

  /var/lib/dpkg/info/libgnome-media-profiles-3.0-0.postrm
  /var/lib/dpkg/info/libgnome-media-profiles-3.0-0.list

  Conclusion: Files were not deleted after package purge.
