Public bug reported:
I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 dev with coreutils 8.25-2ubuntu2 and uniq does
not provide an option to suppress repeated lines if they are not
adjacent. But this could be useful if the input can't be sorted for
example on using specific commands with pipes so maybe an option for
this could be added.
** Affects: coreutils (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
