The command you are looking for is "systemctl", not "sysctl" ☺

Correct, it's a virtual file system.

That sounds weird indeed, and /proc/sys/status is not a thing. Please
give me the output of "systemctl status systemd-modules-load.service"
and the contents of your /etc/modules.

** Changed in: systemd (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Incomplete

Title:
  systemctl glitches

Status in systemd package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  getting weird complaints on boot but I cant diagnose them.
  This was not the case on install.

  note that I have cloned the drive onto a smaller laptop and I had boot
  issues because of it, so maybe CZ has some issues copying data
  somewhere.But that shouldnt affect the system.

  /proc is created on boot, right? or is there a way to re-create it?
