  lubuntu 16.10 installer crashed

Status in grub-installer package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Installed using lubuntu 16.10 desktop amd64.
  Used 'DD' to write the ISO to a 8gb usb thumbdrive , then booted from the USB drive.

  Using UEFI mode boot, with secure boot OFF.

  Install fails during the installation of grub.
