Your primary disk ( /dev/sda ) is partitioned using GPT instead of the
MSDOS partition table. To install grub on a GPT disk in a bios booting
computer requires it to have a 1 mb bios_grub partition. Either create
such a partition, or install grub to another disk that is using the
MSDOS partition table.
