Public bug reported:
I am (re)installing Ubuntu on my desktop.
I created on a USB key an installer by downloading Ubuntu iso 12.04 LTS on the website, then I used the dedicated tool to create the installer available on the Ubuntu OS "Startup Disk Creator".
Then, I restarted the computer and booted on the USB.
I formatted the old Ubuntu partitions on my drives to have something entirely "new".
I tried to install two times Ubuntu with the installer on USB, first
time setting the "/" location as logic and second time as primary. I
dedicated only 10Gb to "/" on my SSD and tried to create the "/home"
directory on my 2nd hard drives (HDD). For this latter, I also tried
both "logic" and "primary" settings.
However, every scenarios led me to the fianl error "grub2 could not been
installed"...
And now, I reporting you the issue...
Any helps or debugging stuff to do for you ?
On my side, I cannot live with computer (ha ha :-) ) so I will attempt
to repair grub with repair-tool.
