It seems like un-installing ubuntu-desktop has allowed the install to
begin.

Title:
  Could not calclate the upgrade

Status in ubuntu-release-upgrader package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I've got a bone stock Ubuntu install that I've converted over to a
MythTV frontend running 14.04 on an Atom box. Upgrading to 16.04
seems to fail and give a could not calculate the upgrade message.
Nothing is pre-release on here. It asked if nothing was pre-rel to
submit a bug so I'm doing so. Hopefully it helps. Going to keep
trying for a bit but if I can't get it I may just wipe and install
16.04 clean. Hope not to have to though.
