Title:
Ubiquity fails to install on Mac Mini 2006

Status in grub-installer package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
I have a Mac Mini 2006. This model supports 64-bit and I had
succesfully installed Lubuntu 15.04 64-bit before, but it has only 1GB
of RAM. So I want to wipe my disk and clean install Lubuntu 16.04
(32-bit) on it, on UEFI mode, but after copying all the files,
Ubiquity complains about grub-efi-ia32 failing to install.

I thought installation failed because Ubiquity closed. But the system
was properly installed, only missing the bootloader. Had to load grub
from a pendrive, boot the installed system from command line and
  install grub-efi-ia32, then it worked.
