[Bug 1677283] Re: Grub failed to install on SDX? "Fatal error" a thinking circe came up, if i waited for the circle to dissapear i wasn't able to cancel, Chose another partition for a bootloader or contine without. Only pressing before the thinking circle finished would make the options work but not really then it just crashed to this point

Yes, i tried installing it on a fresh empty non formatted drive. Still
didnt work. Not to mention you avoided my problem right from the get go if
i press install along with Windows i expect the option to work. So don't
blame me for "chosing" something wrong, it suggested i could install
alongside Windows wich then didnt work. After all this BS i then i
disconect all drives but 1 drive wich i then deletes the entire partion on.
And it STILL didn't work. Now imagine me using a entire evening on this BS.
and you just brush me off with a "you cant do that" its quite simple the
installation didnt work. A simple thing as installing the os failed. I
would like linux as my desktop, i have installed it serveral times. But 10
YEARS ago i installed it and it -automatically- mind you installed the is
and added my then 2 windows partitions with -NO- work on my part. It just
worked now 10 years later on a LTS release mind you, I can't even install
it... And you brush it off entirely with explation that cooked down means
"it's your fault" you don't even suggest in your post to try another
partition or drive?, you just state I did something wrong. _wow_ .
I want Linux to work as a desktop but as long as doing even the simplest
things take so much effort even for a experienced PC enthusiast its not
gonna happen.

TL:DNR The installer didn't work as intended and I did try several things
before reporting. Not to mention that the fact the installer didn't respond
after it failed was a dead giveaway
