Ummm. The Spa Purge may not work. I  think it will though. You are
either on a well or have very Hard  Water. DO NOT use Perfect pH, pH
Balance or any  all in one pH  short  cut. It  knocks Calcium out of
solution and  is  most  likely what has  caused this  problem.  This
isn't WWM  or anything Bio. It is rock formation in your pipes. It is
possible this isn't the cause of the problem. But the  resulting pipe
scaling is the  result  of high Langelier's Saturation Index going off
the charts. Many think I have hot water I must use  more  or lots of
chemicals. That is  the exact opposite  of reality. Calcium Carbonate
is less  soluble at high temperatures. The pH shortcut problem cannot be
detected by  Langeliers as it's chemicals that replace Calcium and
Alkalinity do NOT show up  in standard test's. The water will then be
balanced and the Cal-Carb will  come out  of solution. You must know
this  as a spa owner to be able  to prevent it from happening. It is
possible to  do this simply by having high chem levels and creating hard
and fast pH shifts.  But  this is unlikely. Spa Purge is  awesome. It
can fix the  problem at hand but wont prevent  the  cause.
