I don't think this is related to wine1.6.

Instead I'm changing this bug to "affects aptdaemon" which you used for
installing wine1.6 according to DpkgHistoryLog.txt. Hopefully they
understand this better.

This is the relevant, but not very enlightening, part from your log:

Bug description:
  Cannot install or remove wine for kindle. 64bit install occurs without
  my selecting same and then kindle misbehaves. Stuck trying to
  uninstall wine - a horrible broken dpkg. can't go forward or backward.
