[Bug 1656103] [NEW] installer crashed durring instellation

Public bug reported:

Attempting to install Lubuntu 16.10 Desktop amd64 on an old iMac.
Booted iMac from USB stick with the Lubuntu intaller package installed to the stick.
Ran through instellation process.
Completed drive partition configuration and clicked install.
Instellation proceeds, then after a few moments I get a popup window staing that the installer has crashed. 
Bug report information is gathered and sent.
No ther information presented.
