Public bug reported:

since a week or so the update-notfier is complaining that the download
of additional files has failed:

Herunterladen von zusätzlichen Datendateien schlug fehl

Die folgenden Pakete benötigen nach der Installation das Herunterladen
zusätzlicher Daten, welche aber nicht heruntergeladen oder bearbeitet
werden konnten.

ttf-mscorefonts-installer

Das Herunterladen wird später erneut versucht, oder Sie versuchen es
jetzt gleich nochmal. Das Ausführen dieses Befehls benötigt eine aktive
Internetverbindung.

$ sudo /usr/lib/update-notifier/package-data-downloader

E: Fehlschlag beim Holen von https://vorboss.dl.sourceforge.net/project/corefonts/the fonts/final/andale32.exe  404  Not Found
