Thanks a lot for your answer. I've checked http://ports.ubuntu.com
/ubuntu-ports/dists/zesty/, there is no powerpc directory. Zesty has
simply not be ported for powerpc. That is not a problem for me, I have
amd64 machines ;)

You might try using a different mirror of the archive and see if that
resolves the issue.
