  Problems with Variety (wallpaper app) after recent Imagemagick update

Status in imagemagick package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  It appears that a recent ImageMagick update from 8:6.7.7.10-6ubuntu3.7
  to 8:6.7.7.10-6ubuntu3.8 (on or around 7/24/2017) is causing issues
  for applications that use ImageMagick (like Variety:

  I am using Linux Mint 17.3 (based on Ubuntu 14.4)
